Board of Assessment Review The members of the Assessment Review Board are each appointed by the Town Board to a five-year term, with one member's term expiring annually. This board of community members with real estate, assessing and legal backgrounds, is the hearing body for members of the public who file grievances regarding the assessment value placed on their property by the town assessor.
